bought for my grandson. He loves it! The entire family wants to try it! Great toy for eye/hand coordination. This is a great toy! Best of all, it takes no batteries, like most modern toys! It reminds me of the small maze toys I had as a kid, except this takes it to a whole new level.I am a senior over 70+ years. I bought the Perplexus - Epic to keep my hand - eye coordination intact. I haven't been very successful in accomplishing the Epic. The Epic is still beating me every time. But some day I will be able to say, "Ha ha, I bet you Epic." My 8 year old boy was given this toy for his birthday. He had received the original Perplexus last year. The Epic lives up to it's name. He is challenged by it and has enjoyed it so much. His 10 year old sister really wanted this gift as well, so they trade for it. The variety of challenges on this is remarkable. My 8 year old has an affinity for math, and I know this toy is strengthening that ability. He likes to challenge himself to see how far he can get through the Epic each time he plays. The Perplexus has both me (age 64) and my granddaughter (age 6) entertained, challenged, and aggravated . I'm sending a couple of them out for gifts to my other kids and their families. Like the "unplugged" aspect..... no batteries required My kids (10,9&7) all love it. They specifically asked for the epic, as they have the original and loved that as well. They are mathematically inclined and love solving things. This give them something to solve without a pencil.I bought this toy for my 10 yr. old grandson for Christmas. After talking to him on the phone I found that he was very excited to receive this gift and was playing with it while we talked! It is very mind boggling and you cant put it down! Not sure how sturdy it will be. Scared to drop it. This mind working ball of fun is just awesome!! My son and nephew love it so much and my husband and I ask for a turn whenever they take a break. It's so fun to have to move the ball around and try to figure out the different ways that it goes. This one is definitely a lot more challenging than the original perplexes, but we have all mastered that one. So this is a great new challenge! This perplexing toy is very fascinating I gave it to my son for Christmas however, it soon was making its rounds to everyone who wanted to try it out. He continued to work the ball and it fell out. He restarted and then said , "I have got to put this down or I will never get my chores done for the day". Highly addicting in a good way. We are amazed and amused by the challenge of the Perplexus (which is still challenging) so we had to try the Epic. The products are durable as well as engineered nicely. This product is lots of fun for all ages in our household as well as friends who think they can easily acheive the maze on there first try. Since then my son has told me that all of his friends that come to visit enjoy it too. It is a captivating and fun! Great time. I bought for my grandson. He and 5 adults were trying it for 5 days.
